Did you know that there is a requirement for proper lighting for you and your horse?
According to the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) § 17 + § 28 ...
... the horse must be marked with a white light to the front and a red light to the rear.
... the road user (not the rider, but the horse) must be illuminated.
... lighting must be present during dusk, darkness or other poor visibility conditions.
You fulfil the obligation for safe and proper lighting when riding with the breastplate + saddle cover and when leading with the breastplate + belly strap. These HORSELIGHT products include
- a white light at the front,
- a red light at the rear,
- firm mounting on the horse and
- a reflective binding tape.
For even more safety you can additionally attach the leg and arm cuffs on yourself.
The HORSELIGHT breastplate
- bright, tiltable front light, powered by power bank
- attachment by Velcro flap at the withers, elastic strap with carabiner at the top of the saddle as well as loop or carabiner on the girth
- elastic strap and chest strap individually adjustable
- chest strap can be hooked in at the side
- sturdy construction, tear-resistant and water-repellent material
- reflective binding tape
- Velcro patches on both sides along the shoulder for embroidery
- two pockets (left and right side) for storing the power bank or other equipment (not the phone!)
